Community members were invited to participate in a painting party at the San Luis Obispo Botanical Garden on Saturday to support the continuous development of the children’s garden.
Garden, located at 3450 Dairy Creek Rd. In San Luis Obispo, a "Pickets for Programs" event is being held to create a unique and colorful picket fence to surround the children's area of the garden.
The pickets can be purchased by sending an email to Dara@slblog.org or calling (805) 541-1400 x 302. A single picket costs US$75, or you can buy 5 for US$300.
The picket will stay in the garden for three years. If you wish, you have the opportunity to renew or repaint the picket.
All the proceeds raised by the picket paintings will be used to fund the children’s garden.
