SAGINAW, MI — Two house fires occurred overnight in Saginaw County, at least one of which was sparked by errantly placed fireworks.

About 1 a.m. Friday, July 1, firefighters responded to a house fire at 311 N. 21st St. on Saginaw’s East Side. Residents who were home stepped outside before firefighters arrived.
